And foreign, including new recruits getting sworn in, battle scenes on Pacific islands, generals MacArthur and Wainwright conferring in October, 1941 (Signal Corps photo) , more. Variety of dimensions from 10 1/2 X 13 1/2" to 5 3/4 X 4", mixed condition. Various commentaries, often in Japanese, affixed to the back of some photos. Interesting lot. Graphics of some other photos available. One particulary touching large photo shows a soldier looking down from a seemingly secure position, yet he was killed ten minuts later. 29287
