Douglas’ book “Of Men and Mountains, ” chapter XVII is titled "Jack Nelson" and concludes "This is indeed what I learned when I sat as a boy at the feet of Jack Nelson in the wilderness of Bumping Lake over thirty years ago." 3rd sentence of TLS: “In addition to the University Press at Seattle, there is a press at Caldwell, Idaho, whose exact name I forget. But as I recall, it goes in for western manuscripts and it might find this one of Jack’s ideal. ” Feb. 26, 1965. Supreme Court letterhead with “Chambers of Justice William O.
