The dimensions of this poster are approximately 18" x 24". The central image is of a Wild Thing with a headdress of iconic New York landmarks (the Chrysler Building, Statue of Liberty, Twin Towers, etc. ) poking its head and claws from its yellow background foreward into a blue border filled with Sendak's characteristic white stars. Below this, text in large yellow and white type promote's Sendak's holiday windows at the 55th Street Sony store. Small type at the lower right presents copyright information. The dimensions of the central panel of this poster are 11 1/2" x 10", and a great deal of the Wild Thing's image protrudes from its frame. The spangled blue border is 4" on the top, 9" on the bottom, and 3 1/4" on the side. This piece is in pristine condition .
