[White House Plane Crash] 2 small glass fragments from the incident in September 1994 when an airplane flew to downtown Washington, moved about 50 feet over the surface of the South Lawn, and crashed into the White House. Appear to possibly be from the instrument panel. Less than 3 in. Scouten served 10 Presidents from Truman to Clinton, including time as a Secret Service agent, Chief Usher of the White House, and White House Curator (1986-97). The identification of the fragments is from Rex Scouten's signed notation on the envelope. The occurrence was during President Clinton's first term. ; Signed by Associated
